Donn & Barb Davis bought this 1980 BRG MGB on eBay in June 2001 with only 3 seconds left in the auction and it was their only bid.  The car was on the east coast of Florida and Donn’s father-in-law drove him there to drive the car back.  It was a daily driver at that time and until recently, not much work had been done to it but then again, it wasn’t driven very much.  It has recently been in storage for almost two years due to Hurricane Charley but Donn has recently replaced the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, fuel hoses, and fuel filter.  It is now in need of a rebuild on the brake master cylinder and is in bad need of a tune-up but then it should be a nice weekend vehicle.  Donn started with MGs in 1974 when he bought a Powder Blue MG 1100 for $300.  In 1977, he bought a Butterscotch colored 1975 MG Midget and drove that until 1979 when he sold it to a friend because of a move to the Midwest.
