1962 MGA Deluxe
Harold Hoover

This is a 1962 MGA Deluxe and rumor has it that only 53 were imported to the U.S. out of 357 total cars built. Basically the differences between a regular MGA and a Deluxe is as follows:  The Deluxe has 4 wheel disc brakes with factory knock off wheels. It has an 1800CC engine for a bit more "go". The frames are left over from the Twin Cam car. Clutch is larger and that is about it.

When the Twin Cam car was halted due to poor engine durability the above mentioned pieces were in the supply line so they finished out the production and called those cars "Deluxes" Harold has owned it for 7 years. It originally was a California car which explains the NO RUST. They "kinda" only use it on nice days.
