Tech Central : R to the 4th Power

Tech Central has come together with leadership of taskmaster Headley Wilson and the hard work of Ken Oehler, and to the delight of many Club members.

Motto: R to the 4^th Power - Repair, Restoration, Racing and Relaxation.

Tech Central is a way for Club members to share information about their cars and maintenance issues.  Members can contact and help each other find parts, find what the problem is and work together doing the repairs themselves.

Club Members have helped transformed my garage into a location where fun, work, and ‘car’ stuff can be done under a covered work area for four cars, three garage bays and a lift and even a AC classroom/office.  Also available is a closed area where body work and painting can be done. Sand blasting, powder coating small items, welding and even plasma cutting, when needed can be done and taught. Also, a TV hangs on the wall, just in case something real important is on and someone can’t miss it.

Many club members have cleaned out their garages and donated ‘parts’ for our ‘parts bind’. These items - some old, some used [but still good], and some even new – have been life savers to others when their LBC needed ‘just that part’ to get running again – or at least till the ordered part came in.

Headley, Ken Oehler, Ken Taylor, Frank, Dan Cardinal, Alann Gross, Tom Brewsaugh, Paul Wharen and others have had a part in the transformation. [note from Jerry's wife - THANK YOU]

We have over 851 years of mechanical expertise at our disposal to be of service to our group and will be performing a 31 point check on cars.
